To ensure that you capture everything you need, do the following before you prepare your Thanksgiving shopping list:

Taking into account the number of guests you will be entertaining, check whether you need any additional dinnerware, glassware, linens, table accessories, and any other decorations for the Thanksgiving celebrations.
Check whether you need any additional serving dishes or cooking utensils for the dishes you will be preparing.
